Let it Snow!!

Yes--we had some fun in the snow! A parent at the Day School spent all Thursday night planning a surprise for the children at school. They arrived at school Friday morning to a playground full of snow. David brought Bailey and Payton to enjoy in on the fun as soon as they got out of school on Friday. And FUN they had. I don't think I have seen smiles that big on their faces since we got home from Disney!!

Basketball Season

Basketball season is here!! Bailey and Payton both are playing through the school. This is Bailey's 5th year to play and Payton's first. Bailey and the other 5th graders know the game, but Payton and the other Kindergarten players are such a blast to watch. Payton only has 5 kids on her team (she is the only girl) and for those kids to have to play the whole game is very tiring for them, but they all hung in there and did the best they could. David is coaching and around the end of the 3rd quarter, Payton was begging Daddy to let her rest for a little while. For the next 5 Saturday mornings we will be at the basketball court cheering the girls on.

Welcome 2009!!!!

What a great start for 2009. We have spent the past few days with family and friends. We have ate, watched football (GO REBS!!!!), ate, played games, ate again and shot fireworks. It has been some fun relaxing days. The year 2008 has been a blessed year for my family and I pray that 2009 is filled with blessings from above. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
